Have you ever set out to have a one night stand with a sexy stranger?
No? I’m the only one?
Just kidding, I would never.
Ever.
Not usually.

But then I figured, why not? My entire life I’ve been good and it’s gotten me nowhere.
No job.
No apartment.
No boyfriend.

I’m owed a little fun, aren’t I? A reward for being good.
Sure, a new pair of shoes would be more appropriate, but Mr. Sexy Stranger is more appealing. And when he speaks—in that British accent—it’s a done deal. Every American woman has a hot British guy fantasy. Well, most do. I haven't taken a poll or anything, but I’m pretty sure it’s a fact.

Except…
You know that saying about best-laid plans?
Good, because I don’t either, but I assume they go awry.
Like my one night stand…

Every time I pick up one of Jana Aston's books, I know it's going to be a fun, sexy, light hearted read... and exactly what I NEED! Right from the beginning I loved that Violet put herself in a position outside of her comfort zone. It may've been in a bar contemplating a one night stand, but I was rooting for her to make it all the way! Then to step in for her sister... I didn't think she could pull it off, but she kept surprising me over and over!

Jennings, oh how I loved that British hunk of meat! He knew that “Daisy” (Violet) was hiding something, but couldn't pin point what it was. He was sweet, taking Violet on an incredible date. He was attentive, listening to everything that she told him. But he was dominating too, and would take over when Violet needed him to.

I loved seeing Violet and Jennings together. They had a fierce connection and I enjoyed watching them get to know one another. They were sizzling in the bedroom and experienced a lot of intimate and sweet moments together as well. However they were both holding onto a secret and were afraid that it would tear them apart.

Jana Aston sure knows how to deliver a read that makes me smile and I fall for all the characters every time! She combines the right amount of humour, sexiness and hunkiness that has me coming back for more. I have a feeling we may get another read from this world as a few hints were dropped, so I am REALLY excited!

The first quote gives you an idea as to why Violet falls so fast and hard for Jennings. The second, a scorching kiss!

“... he used his sophisticated British accent to speak words and I’m not made of stone for crying out loud. He said ‘pussy.’ In the hotel lobby. In his accent and it was lewd and inappropriate and hot as hell. And then ‘cock’ flew out of his mouth and words like ‘begging’ and ‘multiple orgasms’ and, well, that was that.

Jennings tips his head closer to mine and covers my lips with his own, one hand on the nape of my neck to hold me steady as his lips brush over mine. Softly. But his other hand drags the hand I’ve placed mid-thigh up to the juncture of his legs. He squeezes my hand underneath his, forcing me to feel him through the denim barrier separating us.
I whimper, a silly little mumble from the back of my throat, and he smiles into the kiss, his lips curving against mine before he breaks us apart and touches his forehead to mine.
“Later,” he promises with a wicked grin and one softly spoken word.

Jana AstonJana Aston likes cats, big coffee cups and books about billionaires who deflower virgins. She wrote her debut novel while fielding customer service calls about electrical bills, and she's ever grateful for the fictional gynecologist in Wrong that readers embraced so much she was able to make working in her pajamas a reality.

Jana's work has appeared on the NYT, WSJ and USA Today bestsellers list, some multiple times. She likes multiples.
