When Tori Reed loses everything, he sets her free.

I told myself I’d never trust Miles Girard, no matter how brilliant or sexy he may be. His sister, Chloe—Ethan Frost’s wife—is my best friend, but I know just how low Miles will stoop to get what he wants. Now he’s the last thing I want: my boss.

Growing up, I had it all—except for the sense that I belonged. And when a mistake from my past surfaces in the press, my parents don’t hesitate to cut me off.

But surprisingly, Miles offers me a helping hand.

Before I know it, our relationship turns unprofessional in the hottest ways. Of course, he still drives me crazy. But when I’m dealt the ultimate blow, Miles is there for me. And maybe he’s the one I’ve been looking for all along.

I have read all the books in this series so far, so I was super excited about getting Tori's book. She has always been a fun, confident and unmissable character, so I was looking forward to seeing her settle down with a guy. And who better than Chloe's brother Miles! It was a sweet enemies to lovers romance with a touch of intensity as Tori was exposed and betrayed, and in need of security.

Miles was by far my favourite character. He quickly realised he was attracted to Tori, and her quick thinking and smart mouth. He showed that he was a good guy by jumping in to help the only way he knew how. He was a bit tough on Tori to begin with, after everything she had just been through, and they constantly bickered with one another. But seeing how sweet Miles could be melted my heart! I liked seeing him take care of Tori and do things to put her at ease.

I felt sorry for Tori to begin with. I liked how independent Tori wanted to be, she was changing her lifestyle and making better decisions. And no one should have to go through the humiliation and have their trust broken like she did—once you have a sexual relationship with someone, it should remain between those involved. Tori didn't have many options, so going to Ethan and Chloe's house was all she had, and having to stay with Miles. It started to annoy me as to how hot tempered she was and would arc up at Miles over everything. I understand she was backed into a corner and in a vulnerable state, but geez... he was trying to help in his own way and she should've accepted help when she was at her lowest.

I enjoyed how the chemistry between Miles and Tori grew throughout the story. It took place over only a few days, but they had known each other for a year. I felt that some of the subject matter was too similar to what Chloe had been through, and some of the arguments between Miles and Tori were replayed a few times. I did like seeing glimpses of Ethan and Chloe, and how close they all are despite living in different cities. Tracy Wolff still manages to pull me into the world's that she creates, and despite Flawed not being a favourite read of mine, I will continue to read her work.

I just loved this moment! The intensity! Such a great kiss!

Wrapped up in her now—wrapped up in this—I lean down, start to take her mouth with mine again. But she beats me to it, yanking me down until our mouths all but slam together.

Tracy Wolff collects books, English degrees and lipsticks and has been known to forget where—and sometimes who—she is when immersed in a great novel. At six she wrote her first short story—something with a rainbow and a prince—and at seven she forayed into the wonderful world of girls lit with her first Judy Blume novel. By ten she’d read everything in the young adult and classics sections of her local bookstore, so in desperation her mom started her on romance novels. And from the first page of the first book, Tracy knew she’d found her life-long love. Now an English professor at her local community college, she writes romances that run the gamut from contemporary to paranormal to erotic suspense.
